  It won&apos;t effect us, we play OPR, use our old 40K mini&apos;s, 3rd party and 3D prints and we create our own lore!

  the Limited edition space marine book is $700 australian, and is still avalible on their webstore. . . i think people might be finaly fed up with GW here

  I have a personal policy... Whenever a company gets too greedy, loses too much value proposition, enshitifies their products, locks down with subscription models, harvests personal data, or generally becomes unsavory or incompetent, I leave: Games Workshop is already on that list for playing with model point values too much, but they join: WotC, Microsoft, Activision/Blizzard, Ubisoft, Epic Games, Spirit Airlines (as of 2009), Chipotle, the state of Arkansas, and more. They all suck, but they all have alternatives, and I&apos;m happy to give these slop factories no money.<br><br>Regarding war gaming and TTRPGaming, It&apos;s actually easy enough to just collect the rules you like for your table. I&apos;m not war gaming right now (kinda), but my current RPG campaign runs entirely on about 2 pages worth of rules, and a few sensible GM decisions (For example, no perception checks. If you look under a rug that hides a trap mechanism, congratulations, you find the trap mechanism).<br><br>Sure, it&apos;s not standard enough for tournament play, sorry, that&apos;s a different beast... But at your table, you don&apos;t have to put up with the bullshit every game company seems to have gotten too comfortable making over the last 10 years.<br><br>Let them suffer.

  *SIGH*... and I was even thinking of getting back into Warhammer after finding my old armies in storage... guess I&apos;ll stick with Battletech. It&apos;s all about the C-Bills baby!
