  The bird is something so powerful, the exposure of the lie can not change it. It might take the Guardians admitting they weren’t… and still it might not go away

  Meanwhile, in episode 4, when told that Hal's mother died of cancer, his construct fluctuated and Hal had to tell him to concentrate, and noted that he should be able to hold focus on a construct while answering personal questions. The two actions - the accidental manifestation of the bird, and the intentional operation of the ring - are different for John.

  Shiii im usually a batman fanboy and honestly never cared about the lanterns, i learned from their lore from JL the animated series and from DCUO the game...but this show got me hooked on. Also the dude that plays John? Perfect casting. He look 100% to most depictions of the animated one.

  You’re comparing 4 dead aliens and a bomb in a small town, maybe unknowingly, to when Darkseid attacked the Amazonians and only one Lattern was there to protect a Mother Box.

  One of the things Hal says in Episode 1 was, &quot;Don&apos;t get hung up on the jewelry, Junior.&quot; that could pay off if he can access the Lantern&apos;s power (or the power of Will and Courage) directly without a ring. &nbsp;The Batman sequel <i>The Dark Knight Strikes Again</i> shows Hal living in another reality in an alien body returning to save the Earth from satellite missiles. It says, once he needed a ring and a lantern. Now he is the power.<br><br>On the other hand a reviewer who has seen all but the last episode said, everything means something and may pay off later. So, I take that to mean Harry Potter, boy wizard, will which has the line &quot;the wand chooses the wizard,&quot; will later be &quot;the ring chooses the superhero.&quot; It looks like the Guardians chose John, but the ring didn&apos;t and instead chose Guy Gardner?

  IMO i think the Manhunters are masquerading as Guardians. This is why the face of the Guardian when it transforms was not revealed.
