  Sinestro knew about John Stewart as well when he talked to Hall back in 2016... that information had to have come from someone on the inside telling him... points to Lianna.

  She must be Scar.  The Guardian Scar wanted to start the War of Light which starts the Darkest Night.

  The Weaponers or the Anti-Guardians. Thats who Laranna is. They develop the first yellow ring. Fear has been the ongoing theme of this series.

  Liana isn't a Guardian. She's a Weaponer of Qward, the ones who created the Yellow Lanterns.

  Like an old timey murder mystery, the killer is someone we already met complete with a red herring. I don't think it's Leanna, a megalomanic would never feign incompetence and she's a typical bureaucrat weaseling out of accountability - her function is to show us why Laterns and Manhunters are sick of the guardians. It's probably Hal, and Sinestro looks like he's just passing the time waiting for his Uber to arrive, and it just picked him up. The plan will be revealed but by the way they're slow walking it, won't get resolved this season

  Lianna is also pretty sus in the comics, she has her own agenda and definitely would be the one to free Sinestro since her guy John turned down the mantle like she wanted him to. Also the fact that John knows Hal doesn't have the ring and still looks for it on his hand tells you that Hal that is dead, might not be that Hal, the back-up showing up for John to investigate might be where this leads, that Sinestro has the original Hal now that he's freed and wants revenge and the one we see on the bleachers with a hole in his head is a copy, Sinestro is one of the smartest and most ruthless people in the GL comics, he'd find a way to do this.

  Hal is so alive... The coroner said that the shot was so obviously the cause of death that she didn't run an autopsy. Hal killed a guardian disguised and posing as him. Remember that Hal Jordan is not what he seems, he's an old hard nose space cop and test pilot. Let that sink.
