  When John has his interview with her there is a poster on the wall behind him of a female. Half her face is jumbled up like it's scarred, and the word Janus is next to it. Janus was the Roman two faced god, indicating deception. Janus is also the god of transitions, reflecting that moment when John goes from regular guy, to future Lantern.

  This is the same conclusion I came to! She's inside because Hal got orders to train John AND someone is feeding information to Sinestro. She's able to do both if she's a Gaurdian gone rogue.

  Liana molded John since birth to replace Hall Jordan, before he broke any rules and she ALSO lied to John saying that Hall reports John won't be a good Lantern although Hall hasn't spoken with the Guardians in years .

  She's the scarred guardian.... or scar.  The guardian who dies and goes to the black in blackest night. Makes the first black lantern ring for black hand.  And remember a different guardian gives john a lantern ring and has him test by making a watch.  So she's a guardian.  Tho probably gone rogue after sinestro killed a guardian.

  I think that Lianna is the one feeding Senestro info but I think this is leading to Hal opening the path of fear to get taken over by parallax. just looks at Hals suit it is changing color it is Yellowing and I think he is seeing the signs. Hal is afraid of being replace, he is afraid of being alone, He is afraid of getting old, He is afraid of being irrelevent, and most of all being forgotten. I think Sensetro has mastered the power of FEAR and now I think he is using Hal to give Parallax away out of being trapped in the Ceneral Battery. If you look at the lanter in the title it starts green but lights and end as yellow not white not green yellow I think it is a metaphor for this whole season.

  One key thing. Whoever she is she is good enough to fool Hal. Remember Hal had been somehow notified about John’s existence and apprenticeship.

  I agree she's operating alone. I'm not sure why. I am starting to think she's not. But I have seen some iteration of guardians that were tall.

  She is the guardian that was in the Green Lantern animated cartoon. She was a scientist and created the AI Aya. She is Saud.
