Serial lines are rs-485 standard differential pair so there is no polarity by definition but ideally you should use a twisted pair for best performance and noise resilience.

15.3 seer and 63db by today's standards is not really great efficiency or noise wise, 19seer is pretty easy on a 4 ton. If you go for mini splits 22-25seer is doable. The stand you put it on is ugly as hell, not even the same color as the unit, a wall bracket would have been so much nicer.

That square to round connector sure didn’t look insulated. I am not aware of an internally lined fitting like that.

Mikey, Get rid of that GARBAGE Appion repurposed hose (they're permeable) and only use the Trublu vacuum hoses going forward!--You'll be glad you did.
