My vertebrae in my neck slipped 3 months before my 50th birthday.
I had been complaining to my PC for an over a year that my bones hurt and asking her to check my hormones. I felt like I was 80 years old. She dismissed my concerns and now I have moderate stenosis in my cervical spine.

It took 6 months for me to get a MRI.
I changed my PC 3 times before I received help. Now I’m finally I’m on HRT, Vitamin D , and Magnesium.
I healing but the structural
damage in my spine is permanent and I suffer from chronic pain.

Medical professionals should be held responsible for negligence.

So good to hear from a Rheumatologist. I can’t even begin to explain how doctors have led me astray. Making me think this was not menopause.

I had intense joint and muscular pain. Went to a top specialist and did a year of occupational therapy. Three days starting a low dose glp-1 remedied 90 percent of it. No more frozen shoulder or sore hands or feet. Amazing! I cannot recommend it enough. Reversed all my perimenopausal symptoms. I am 53 and still have a period.

i fired my rheumatologist- because she wasn't helping - blamed me for my situation. Stuck now trying to doctor myself. GP refuses to help- "hormones have no effect"! I feel vindication from your information.

I am 55 years old. Mine feels like sharp stabbing jabs in my upper arms. The pain is so intense that I cry almost every night. I've been to several doctors, tried acupuncture, and even had physiotherapy, but it's been 8 months now with no improvement. The pain is worst at night.
