That Pittsburgh O Line never gets the credit it rightfully deserves because of the Triple Bs

DeCastro, Pouncey, Villanueva helped supplement his running style you dont leave that then still expect to have time to sit and wait for holes to open

He thought he was better than the team he was on, and didn't realize that his team made him better.

I imagine if he had stayed with the Steelers he would've had an amazing career, and would be remembered very fondly now, instead of as a cautionary tale

Another player believing he is better than his teammates only to find out very quickly there is a reason why there are 52 other people with you.

I noticed you didn't mention the real reason he didn't sign Pittsburgh's extension was he wanted a fully guaranteed contract like the Rams gave Tod Gurley. The Steelers never give out fully guaranteed money beyond the first year. They didn't do it for Big Ben, not Polumalu, not Watt. And they sure weren't going to do it for a player with Bell's injury and drug suspension history. His goal was to reset the RB market. But he ended up setting it back and shortening his own career.

I felt Le’Veon Bell was an all‑around back who left Pittsburgh, lost his speed, and faded out with the Ravens. He was on his way into becoming a Hall of Famer. Too bad, he didn’t play in the league long enough to do so. Once he got the big contract, we couldn’t tell him nothing

I think you're giving him a little too much credit for starting the trend of requiring RBs to be able to catch passes, too. Marshal Faulk and LaDainian Tomlinson were doing it well before him, and even if they were just considered outliers and not starting the trend, Matt Forte was the premier pass catching RB to really make it a trend. Don't get me wrong, Bell made a great receiver for an RB, but he was more of a product than a catalyst.

9:05 - The ignorance about “guaranteed money” is the Steelers deal would have paid him more than the Jets. Since “guaranteed” money would be paid in lump sums at certain dates, Bell still had to be on the Jets roster to get paid. He didn’t even get half of the $30 million in “guaranteed” money from the Jets before he was released

Not the first RB to make a decisive impact in the passing game. Roger Craig, Thurman Thomas, & Marshall Faulk were incredible.

The man had huge talent, matched in size by his ego and stupidity. He’d be in the HoF if he’d realized how lucky he was to be in PGH. AB too. They both muffed it.
