  My theory is that GW doesn’t want you to notice how little actual paint you’re getting for your money, if they had theirs in dropper bottles like everyone else people would instantly see that GW paints are 33% smaller than most others, so if they keep to the old design they can more easily hide that they’re selling you 12ml for the price of 18ml

  GW will eventually cast their models using a patent plastic that will only bond with their special formula paint.

  GW WANT your paint to dry out. &nbsp;You aren&apos;t buying new paints if you have paint at home.

  I think what they should have done was release the new line in dropper bottles and called it the Primaris Paint Line<br> If trade partners complained, GW could assure them that they could keep using the old racks since they had no plans to end support for Firstborn paint pots.

  I do like gw paint pots for contrast paints and washes because you go straight from pot to model. For regular paints they are defacto useless.

  I&apos;ve opened sealed paint pots from storage that were dried solid. Obviously paint in the seal doesn&apos;t help, but the design of the pots are fundamentally flawed.

  I think they realized that if they do drop bottles, they compete directly with the same margin as others. That means without mixing balls or same amount of paint, people will complain, or choose a competitor. If they have these weird sihtpots, its not as noticeable.

  I like pots, I would just prefer the OLD pots. Maybe it&apos;s just because it&apos;s what I used first, but still
