I played a 3 round RTT with battle tanks and exterminators yesterday in combined arms. To really sing the LR battle tank needs -1ap from either fields of fire or withering hail. With -2ap on the heavy bolters and the battle cannon the full rerolls to hit will put tough targets on their 4+ saves and that’s pretty key to getting all the dmg 2 and dmg 3 shots to do their work.

The question is when the Heavy Bolter and Storm bolter are going to be upgraded in the Space Marine Codex. I assume the other upgrades will roll out the rest of the Codexes.
