I sure do love popping out 1", missing my lascannon, and D6" scooting back.

I suspect the "heavy lascannon might be a typo! its either a lascannon, or the actual heavy lascannon in the FOB.

Assuming they're not too expensive I think you double melta and just turn 1 throw them in your opponents face as a move block

There is a real life joke in armoured reconniasance regarding the role of the unit type.
It goes that that the commander knows where the enemy is, by looking out and seeing all of the smoke columns from the burning armoured reconnisance vehicles.

Hopefully bad datasheets means that they wont be snatched up by meta chasers when the pre-orders come out

I expected them to be a little beefier than a scout sentinel. I guess if they're priced similarly they're fine.

I actually think it fits a niche we were missing in Move-shoot-move. It will make a great harassment vehicle. Depending on points of course

I wish the Hippogriff was 50% more expensive and powerful than an Armoured Sentinel, bridging the gap between it and an actual tank. Alas.
Still will bring six to the tables, though. It is the vehicle that finally made me jump into Astra after years of lurking. Getting three Batallion boxes.

I like them, it's a fire and fade vehicle, perfect for plinking away for many turns instead of one and done.

The typo for the lascannon is the heavy part. The lascannon has assault, so it's clearly meant to be different.

The Hippogriff might be great to use as a great roadblocker
