never underestimate the fun in a distraction chimera B-lining the enemy home objective for some 5man inter-scissor squad to tankshock.

I think you hit the nail on the head: what is the centaur for?
Moving troops from A to B quickly? Take a taurox for advance and dump and less points.
Protect troops inside? Chimera does it better
Firepower? You’re looking at a MINIMUM of 85+65 for decent guns. You can get a vanquisher for cheaper!!
OC control? 85+65 for 5 OC isnt terrible but still a lot to invest in a vehicle that will likely die the following turn.

Really hard to justify at 85pts.

I think the Centaur’s ability should’ve allowed it to have the Regiment keyword only while there is a Regiment unit embarked inside.

I actually am okay with the Centaur not getting a hunter killer missile. The Chimera is the 40k Bradley/Quasi Tank. It should have the guns, the missile, and the armor that differentiates it. And the missile backblast on an open topped vehicle is sketchy.

I was also expecting the Centaur to be cheaper, that may still happen down the line. But I want the difference between these units to be preference, not objective better or worse.
