Im 77yoa, my first car in 1969 was this car in cream, with red interior, on our first date I took my wife to Chester, god we thought we were the 'bees knees', happy days.

Neat Austin A40. Definitely worth restoring. You have done a terrific job too. I'm 66 years young so i remember these cars on the road in the 1960s in my childhood. I live in New Zealand.

Austin a40 was one of the first cars my dad used to own as I rember it was Maroon with a black roof that was back in the early 70s

Watching this video took me back to my childhood my older brother had a beige one of these and I remember when my Dad and brother and little me went to collect a gas cooker in it had to remove the front seat I remember not sure how we all fitted in the car with it Lol! <br>Happy memories
