  Good to see an Avenger been saved, they are quite rare beasts, I have a 1500 Supper from 1970, waiting restoration. It was purchased new by my late farther, within 18 months the bottom of the doors and other parts started rusting through the paint and it had a full repaint, after 4 years the jacking box's needed replacing, after 6 years two new front wings, it is an absolute rot box. Mine has a simlar problem with the floor, amongst other things, and was the windscreen seal, but they are not the most watertight boats! Good luck, followi

  i used to have a hillman avenger the one before yours reg   JPE 149N that was when i was young it was about 2 years old when i bought it i am now 73 but i still remember it very well they had a bad name back then i thought it was great great your saving it dont think there are many left now great job fella

  Hi Andy. It takes at least twice as long to  do the job when you are filming. Dont worry too much about starting and finishing a particular job. A lot of people just love to get a regular update of progress around 20 mins or so. Keep showing the detail of how you are doing what youre doing. Ive liked and subscribed. Cheers Russ😃👍

  Great job. When I have done metalwork, I usually strip the surface with a wire brush in a grinder to find where to cutout. Then you can maximise the original metal if you want
