Hot Rod Morris Minor With Mystery Engine.. Sat 30+ years, Runs and Drives?

  My dad built this 30+ years ago. <br><br>The engine and gearbox is a 1300 Mazda 323, the engine was originally painted in Amarite blue. The roof is a standard MG midget roof, the wielded on back panel is part of the original roof. When it was built it had 2 seats from a Chevy. <br><br>The guy that brought it from him put the seats in and recovered the door linings as they are now. <br><br>Amazing to see it looks how it does still 30+ years on and so pleased to see it and for others to be appreciating his work and for the world to see! He says it was a real fun car to drive back then and regrets getting rid of it as &nbsp;he quite often talks about it. <br><br>Love the video and glad we came across this and you have found it!

  Sometimes that shudder can be an engine mount that has come away. &nbsp;Let&apos;s have a look underneath and check the the prop while there.

  Definitely get it back up and running. That&apos;s a quirky little Moggy that someone went to a lot of trouble with and it deserves to be saved.

  Could be rusty flywheel / clutch cover. Or engine- gearbox mounts

  Did a Google search and its saying the engine is possibly a Mazda ma engine possibly a F series from the early 70&apos;s.For me mate you have become one of the best car channels on YouTube.The shuddering could be clutch judder which is caused by a worn or contaminated clutch.
