  Gen X here - I remember hearing about all the people going crazy during covid because they had to stay home, either alone or with their families. So many had a hard time. I was mystified. I enjoy being around my family, but I LOVE to be alone. I'm not bothered, I can roll thoughts and worries around in my head, and solve problems and get work done - both mentally and physically. I'm sad that that's so difficult for all the younger people. Turn off your computers during the day and spend some quality time with yourself - the benefits are great   :-)

  Wow, this hit home, I love helping others, but will literally have an anxiety attack at the thought of asking someone for help....I would rather do or go without.

  Did we live in fear of nuclear annihilation? No. We EXPECTED it. Some of us that grew up near primary targets were comforted in the knowledge that we would die instantly. I think that’s why we had so much fun in the 80s. Life will be over soon so have fun now.

  Gen X born in 1971 here. It is scary and a bit unnerving listening to him put in words EXACTLY what I have felt and known my entire life, but have almost never spoken about aloud.

  As aa Gen Xer, I watch a lot of these reactions. There are millennial YouTubers who watch these same videos and don’t have a fraction of your maturity and pragmatism. You’ll be fine. Keep it up.

  I want to take this opportunity to applaud you Thurston, and commend your fruitful last couple of weeks....literally cranking these videos out 2, and most often 3 per day....with everything you've gone thru...keeping busy, active, and engaged in activities and work can be great therapy and help you MUSCLE💪🏼 YOUR WAY THRU THE TOUGH TIMES....KUDOS BAD ASS!!!😎🎉

  I remember reading encyclopedias when I was bored. I started reading encyclopedias when I was in the second grade. It was a Britannica set from 1964
