I stumbled across this channel a week ago, and have watched loads of the old content. Great presentation, none of the OTT drama that others resort to. Don't change the format. Happy to subscribe.

I'm sure you will figure the whine out , you are very intelligent. You put the engine together brilliantly and it's great to see another classic saved by you 😉 Hyped the video as always content is a lot better than most other channels.

A Spitfire Mk III was my first car. When I bought it, it was completely disassembled. My dad was close to kick me out the house 😂.
Finally I have to say, it was fun to drive, and it never really let me down. Of course, it always required care and attention. Now I''m approaching my 63 yeats of age, but consider to buy one again as a ''project'' for retirement.

From what I remember so far, the clutch bearing was always prone to make noises. Fortunately I never had Diff. problems, but what I heard in the community, it was not unusual. Once I had a rocker valve spring broken, but was also easily fixed, and the clutch slave cylinder was a mess...lol. So far, a normal car.

I would put new oil in the diff. And check the rubber donut at the back of the prop shaft. It's probably perished and splitting.
