This is the last song Morrison ever recorded for The Doors. He didn’t even stay for the final mix of the album; went on vacation to Paris and never came back.

Fun fact: Ray is a master of the keys. The Doors are one of the very rare few bands that don't use a bass player. Ray uses the keys to create the bass sound. Jim Morrison's father was a top rear Admiral for the US NAVY and held many significant commands in the Vietnam War

Jim Morrison was a poet first they put music to some of his poems he has a book of poems he was also known as the lizard king he died young but left a big mark on music long live the lizard king RIP

The Doors will grow on you. The more you listen to them the more you enjoy them. If they show up when listening on shuffle, I rarely skip them.

They had a short run because of Morrison's death, but they were one of the greatest and most influential American bands. Check out their catalogue. You'll be glad you did.
