  The "chicken" announcer voice line is referencing a player's ability to "counter a counter," which when complete, the announcer would say that.  That's been a thing since Tekken 3.

  The exclusion of Roger Jr. from Tekken 7 due to animal rights concerns make no sense when Kuma and Panda are still on the roster

  I love how Dean Earwicker lives on as one of the names of the Tekken Force soldiers in the Mishima Fortress level on Tekken Force in Tekken 4 and also the name of a Steve Ghost in Tekken 5.<br><br>I know it&apos;s a spin off but I do remember there&apos;s some test footage of Heihachi in Tekken Tag 2 doing a small combo featuring his Tsunami Kick and ending with a Shoryuken, which at that point I felt was a test of how to translate Street Fighter moves into Tekken style for the planned Tekken x Street Fighter game.

  I could be wrong, but I&apos;m pretty sure that the textureless man in Tekken 4 and the textureless blocky Mokujin in Tekken 5 are actually used in their respective games: if you go into a character&apos;s command list and watch one of the attack&apos;s preview, the opponent will be those models.

  It&apos;s interesting that when you look at some of the early Tekken 7 footage it seems pretty clear that a lot of, if not all, the returning characters didn&apos;t have their new designs yet. <br>It&apos;s not cut content, but at the start of Tekken 8&apos;s season 2, Anna had a bug that could allow her to copy another character&apos;s moveset, or vice-versa. One of the most interesting things about it was that it could make characters do moves that, technically, weren&apos;t in the game, as there&apos;s footage of Raven doing to copy bug where he suddenly does Bob&apos;s crouch dash 1. Mind you, Bob isn&apos;t in Tekken 8 and that move&apos;s animation is unique to him. So apparently, that bug was reaching &nbsp;deep into the game&apos;s files to dig up old moves.

  The lore of the this game is absolutely insane. For a lot of kids that grew up in the early 2000s, this and Dragonball Z were our first experiences of Japanese media. I have very fond memories of booting up Tekken Tag Tournament and hearing that intro song (the real ones know) or fighting Yoshi in tekken 3 and hearing “no eyes no ears no nose no mouth”. These games are my childhood

  The jump from Tekken 2 to 3 was insane. Not just graphically. The character designs, backgrounds, story etc. You can tell the devs were like &quot;ok, we got something here with Tekken. Let&apos;s go all in on it&quot; and it shows.

  You know what I miss? &nbsp;Katas. &nbsp;I know those were primarily in the Soul Calibur series, but I feel like seeing that a lot of styles are more &quot;grounded&quot; in the Tekken series, katas could be a nice addition.

  It makes sense that there&apos;s less cut content to find as the games move more towards the &quot;games as service&quot; era. Less time to develop means less to cut.<br><br>Great vid all the same. Love game history preservation efforts like this.
