Telling bartender to surprise me or get recommendations because you like gin and tonics needs to be reserved for slower times. If they are super busy, this is the last thing they want to hear and will probably give you whatever is fastest/easiest at the time.

The princess plus and premier packages include more than just drinks. They cover Wi-Fi, and gratuities . The plus has 4 casual dining. The premier has unlimited specialty dining. And a whole lot more. Its some of the best value in the cruise industry.

Great tips. Always tip your bartender the first day and periodically throughout the sailing. Not only will you get great drinks and service, but when its slow, great conversation.

17 cruises with Royal and I've never received a free drink in the casino.

I get the drink package because of the extras as well. The good non alcoholic drinks are awesome, the specialty coffees, the bottled water, and more. We give $2 tips to the bartenders and they remember us. Some have called us Lucky Twos. It doesn't have to just be alcohol to enjoy the package. We don't gamble so that is out. The fact that the water is chlorinated is not a plus.

I love saying " surprise me with something that has jack daniels in" or another of my favs. I've had the most creative amazing tasting drinks ever doing this.

Carnival has no unlimited for Alcohol. You're allowed 15 alcoholic drinks every 24 hours. All non alcoholic beverages that are included in the drink package are unlimited

Excellent info on onboard water. Some people obviously have more money than sense. Single use plastic will be banned eventually and not before time. Help make cruising sustainable.

On the Celebrity Excel...there is a speak easy bar accessible through an arcade style photo booth....and yes you get a photo
