  Hi folks!<br>This is the second steam engine model I’ve ever restored, and it was a lot of fun to work on, even though it took me quite a bit of time to get everything properly aligned.   A little bit of soldering flux doesn’t hurt—and it keeps you from having to hide those badly soldered joints in the video

  Amazing how you restored the old steam to working order, even though it took quite a while to get everything adjusted well. &nbsp; It looks much better than before and it works like a charm too. &nbsp;Excellent work as usual.

  I love watching these old &quot;chug-a-boom&quot; steam engines being restored. Being a kid from the 60s, they were introductions to mechanics. These, and the single piston gas motors from the early 1900s &nbsp;that were used for everything from running tractors to one being customized to serve as a bread dough mixer for the wife of the older guy who lived next door. They&apos;re simple engines, granted, but they were technology advancements that fired entire countries into bigger and better innovations.
