The scientists at the end really soured this movie for me. It felt like I was watching an SNL skit.

They could’ve done something so much better than this. It would’ve been way cooler if they actually created a story that ties into the lore of the story like a new police officer and his pov showing how the police station is taken over and at the end he gets killed by the licker in that hallway. I just hate how filmmakers do their own thing and completely shit on the lore.

I get why you are disappointed in the ending and feeling like the mission was unfulfilled but I think it shows us that every one of those monsters has a story of how they got to what they became when we cross their path.

Just saw it, about to record my review, but this is the closest I've seen to a completely honest and real review of this movie.  I've been hyped for it, and the online discourse surrounding it has been annoying to see, but ultimately I was disappointed when I left the theater.

Without being spoiled, from the trailers ive seen and your mention of the infection mechanic, it sounds like it leans more Nemesis parasite than tvirus.

Bro, what more could you want from the movie? It was incredible atmosphere, the depth of entering the old lady's house, but you can still see the car crash in the background. It's all referencing the eeriness of the game. The tunnels, like it is a masterpiece. And you know, leon is in those choppers at the end of the movie.

I was hoping you would have a review for this . I stopped halfway through the video as I haven’t seen the movie yet but I will return to finish the vid after I see the movie . I’m with you on the no need to have characters from the games , I was more about the tension and mood of the games than the characters .  Comedy is a risky ingredient in a horror movie , if it appeals to the viewer it raises the movie , if the comedy falls flat it drags the movie down . Your description of the humour in the film does sound like they just beat one joke to death . Great to see a new video from you 🍻
