  One thing I do love is when Solas is in the future in Inquisition, he directly tells you to stop him,  as tearing down the veil will not bring him the ending he wants.

  I always liked elves in Dragon Age; they have one of my most favorite origins period (City Elf gang), and bringing your elf mage Inquisitor to chat with Ameridan is a treat too. At the same time, it&apos;s wild how many problems in the setting happen because of the elves, and even moreso how completely ignorant the remaining elves are about how badly their ancestors fucked everyone over. There really is something compelling about that dichotomy, in a dramatic tragedy sort of way.<br><br>And I&apos;ll never forgive EA and the shambling corpse of Bioware for what Veilguard did to all of that.

  That the writing just sorta threw its hands up in the air and declared &quot;The Elves did it!&quot; will never not frustrate the hell outta me. I remember theorycrafting with a couple friends after the Descent dlc came out, and what the writers eventually settled on barely resembles the setup we got. Also the disrespect the Dwarves continue to receive is galling. <br><br>What made DA compelling for so long was that there <b>were</b> no clean answers, because the truth is always complicated. Just declaring that the Elves were the aggressors, and then the bad guys, and then made The Worst Biological Disaster Possible with no additional context beyond &apos;they were power hungry&apos; is such a sad, pitiful cop-out. That the Mass Effect team might have had a hand in it makes me even more wary for ME5 than I already was.

  It says a lot when the Qun is a better option than living literally anywhere else. At the very least they have shelter, food, and less than 50% chance of being turned inside out.

  I&apos;ve said it once, I&apos;ll say it again, I love the Dragon Age elves because they took the typical elf and turned them into something unique. I&apos;ve always had a problem with Elves being samey in fantasy settings since it&apos;s all always like stuck up practically immortal people looking down on other races so Dragon Age taking that and turning it into something unique made me really like them. It just sucks that Veilguards story.... exists, because it fumbled a LOT from what i heard but the fact we could&apos;ve had some more interesting lore for elves only for the story to be the way it is is sad

  This is something I’ve always said about Dragon Age Elves. They are the most Dwarfy Elves they don’t pretend to be a “fallen civilization” like in literally every other fantasy they have actually lost their position of power in the world and have next to no way of reclaiming it.

  One thing.i will poibt out abput the 2nd.Blight.<br><br>The elves &nbsp;didn&apos;t just ignore it but many humans thought the elves kinda supported it.<br><br>In DA2 I believe, it is mentioned that a Blight Horde literally went around Aralathan and struck Orlais from the rear.<br><br>The elves did NOTHING<br> They neither attacked the Horde from the rear or even WARN the.Orlesians that a blight Horde was on their doorsteps.<br><br>From.what.i remember, this seriously pissed off the Orlesians
