  Vomit is generally considered unpleasant in Europe. Therefore, we do not put vomit acid in our chocolate.

  American chocolate is awful. We regularly send cadburys chocolate to friends, who moved to America, as a humanitarian gesture.

  You know KitKat is English, right? It was created by Rowntree's of York in North Yorkshire.  It's now owned by Nestlé - a Swiss company.  It's made by Hershey's under licence in the USA

  As a European, during my brief visit to Washington DC, I was shocked by two things foodwise : <br>- The green peas were the biggest and most beautiful green peas I had even seen, also disgustingly tasteless. <br>- My Quarter Pounder at McDonald was so full of oil, I felt sick all afternoon.

  In Europe, we don&apos;t put butyric acid in our chocolate bars so they don&apos;t taste like vomit.

  btw if you ever wondered why european ingredient lists are so long, its because they have it in every language you could speak near the country you bought it from!

  American chocolate requires at least 15% cocoa mass concentrate. European regulations require a minimum of 43% cocoa mass, including a minimum of 26% cocoa butter.

  Its funny that choclate considdered bad or low quality in Europe still beats the American choclate. Hersheys isnt considdered choclate by my standards. 😅<br><br>Greetings from Germany

  Kit-Kats used to be wrapped in easily recyclable silver foil with an equally recyclable paper band around the foil, but now landfill and sea clogging metallic wrapping is used. So much for progress.
