  As a European, I have to say that most candy products like Skittles, Kit-Kat or Mountain Dew are avaliable here, the thing is that they just take out the harmful/prohibited chemicals for the EU version in most cases, and also reduce the amount of sugar in them.<br><br>It&apos;s just shows that it wouldn&apos;t be too costly for companies to take out that crap from US food and make it less hamful, they clearly can afford it here. It&apos;s just a matter of maximizing profits whenever possible, and US regulations lets them get away with potentially poisoning people for money. It&apos;s just that simple.

  From an italian: in supermarkets you can find meat already packaged for raw consumption. That meat is always more controlled with respect to the meat that is to be cooked.

  When you told us about the bakeries I actually got tears to my eyes. I am an European and I absolutely ADORE fresh bread. Whenever I can, I eat fresh, crispy bread, too hot to even slice. Sometimes I just bite the hot loaf, without waiting for it to cool down (I buy extra one only for myself, to be able to do that without ruining the loaf for the rest haha). <br><br>I actually visited USA and I could NOT eat your bread. It tasted... Omg it was so bad my words elude me. But there were local bakeries - not american though... They were lebanese and I had to switch to their pita bread for a time of visit. When I got home I was eating bread and only bread for a week... <br><br>Gosh, my heart goes for you so much! Come to Europe, all of you, we will feed you properly!!!!!

  Did you know that subway had to cancel their bread in some European countries?? Because it contains so much sugar, it’s basically cake

  Some American foods and drinks (like Skittles) are still sold in EU countries. The ingredients have just been &quot;Europe-ified&quot; to make them.. You know.. Safe to consume. &nbsp;<br><br>On another note, most people from Europe agree that American food has a really odd chemical taste to it. One that genuinely makes a lot of it inedible taste-wise.

  Keep in mind, a lot of these things are available in lots of countries by name, but the contents can be drastically different (better for you) for various markets

  As a swede, I can confirm that we do have skittles, they just need to revise the recipe to be allowed to sell them here.

  I heard of a bloke from my home country that he moved to America. The man opened his own bakery european style. The place is super busy and the croissants sell like heroine.<br>He also sells it at a higher price than they would here as he has no competition in town.
