  Sorry I`m european and have never seen this dishwasher position . The Quooker tap yes it makes boiling and even cold sparkling water

  In the empty space in the corners can be hidden cabinets with a carousel shelf.

  all these features are very common in the Netherlands. Those pantry closets are used here for decades. Also our corner cabinets have shelfs that you can turn 360 degrees, so everything is very easily accesable. We had these features already in the 80&apos;s and 90&apos;s. <br>We love to build in diswashers, fridges and ovens into our kitchens, because all the clutter....drives us insane😂

  One that I missed is the pots carousel. This is a narrow cabinet to access the space in the corner (where two sides of counterstops meet). It is some gizmo that you can pull out and store your pots and pans in without reaching deeply, and it utilises the normally dead space in the corner

  One of the things that baffles me the most about American kitchen appliances are that most American stove tops seem to have the temperature controls at the back, while here, most stove tops have their controls at the front. To me that just screams safety hazard, since if something is over-cooking or &quot;burning up&quot; you&apos;d have to reach OVER the pots/pans that might spray boiling water or hot oil around to turn it off.

  Americans have only just discovered the existence of the electric kettle. You can’t just show them a tap with boiling water now, can you? There’s a gap of about 30 years between the two.

  In Denmark we don’t take the kitchen when we move, I believe it’s more common in Germany

  In Germany our sinks have a flat sourface on the left or right side, to put dishes there for drying. The water couldn´t go anywhere except the sink.
