  Hey guys, thank you all so much for watching these reactions! I'm LOVING the Expanse so far! I never really intended to do more than 1 episode on here, it was going to be Patreon only from the start until i realised there are so many expanse fans. Unfortunately that does mean I have already scheduled Andor to come next and I physically cant keep up with the editing to do more.   In the book, the experiments on Eros go even more crazy.<br><br>The protomolecule spreads throughout the station while people are trying to escape, and the infected shuffle around as zombies who vomit grey sludge to spread it around.<br><br>Later, footage from cameras on Eros shows the protomolecule repurposing the biological material of the people there. The book describes ribcages walking like animals down tunnels held up with bone structures. Nautilis shells and other incomprehensible structures.<br><br>Mix of body horror, eldritch horror, and general alien technology beyond current human understanding.

  The guy he shot, Filat, was the one who hurt his partner. Dawes kept him in the safehouse, but when they didn&apos;t make a deal, he &apos;let him go&apos;.

  I believe Miller is in love with Julie because she represents everything he lost. Innocence, idealism, his youth. * Also sees saving Julie as a way to redeem himself.

  I like, that you spotted Erinwright as one of the villains and Avasarala as one of the good guys and maybe begin to trust Fred Johnson. The big guy that Miller shoots, that you didn&apos;t recognize, was the Belter that impaled Miller&apos;s cop partner back on Ceres.

  Amos is able to carry both of them so easily because Eros has a much lower gravity than Earth. Plus he&apos;s a big guy who&apos;s able to carry heavy things easily. But also they&apos;re in a lower gravity.<br><br>Unrelated but this show is definitely worth re-watching once you&apos;ve finished reacting to all of it. Season 1 will make a lot more sense as you&apos;ll notice the subtle clues about what&apos;s going on.

  Miller is a complicated character. His infatuation with Julie isn&apos;t strictly about Julie, herself, but more what she represents.<br>This is much clearer in the book, where we get Miller&apos;s thoughts, but he knows that he&apos;s a failure.<br>His entire life has just been one screw-up after the next. Nothing he does matters. He&apos;s depressed, he&apos;s angry, and he&apos;s alone.<br>Then comes the job to find Julie.<br>This is his chance. He can finally prove to himself that he&apos;s worth something. Anything.<br>Over the course of his search, without really even realising what&apos;s happening, he puts more and more of himself on the line, until all he has is this one, single goal.<br>He&apos;s so mixed up in his head that he can&apos;t tell what&apos;s real anymore.<br>He doesn&apos;t love Julie, he loves the idea of her. Of her saving him, and him, her.<br>And then, when he finally does find her, he&apos;s too late. She&apos;s dead. And so is Miller. He just hasn&apos;t realised it yet.
