  I think pyramid head is encouraging James to dig deeper<br>Almost every time we see him, he opens up a path that lets us progress further in the game

  I’m a simple guy, I see a SH2 analysis, I click on it.<br><br>Great analysis. &nbsp;I’ve never considered the depth of some of these concepts. &nbsp;Loved it.

  Never thought about the hole that’s gone potentially being one of the holes that James jumps down throughout the game. If each time you jump down a hole, you’re getting closer to the “truth”, maybe there would’ve been a descendant hole in Neely’s Bar if James’ subconscious wasn’t trying so hard to not acknowledge what he had done, and it would’ve ultimately gotten him to the Lakeview Hotel faster.

After the emergency stairs fall and the noise stops, James walks forward. Right when he passes in front of the TV, you can hear Mary’s last breath. It only happens once in that spot.<br><br>There are other places where you can hear it too. Right before meeting Angela at night, when you are crossing the tunnel going to the park by the lake you can hear the same sound in that tunnel. You can hear it again, and like many moments in the game, it comes from the right side. But in the videotape, it’s not from the right like the others. It sounds more obvious in front of you.

  The apartment where we were first confronted by pyramid head is, I think, meant to be a copy of the apartment where James killed her. <br>The bed looks like the same as the final reveal tape, - and then upon &quot;kind of&quot; realising what he did, preconsciously, he then starts to be stalked by the punisher for the rest of the game.<br><br>But whilst James is trying to defend himself - wanting not to be punished, as he&apos;s still in denial - pyramid head lets him be.

  I just noticed that James looks at his hands after killing Eddie, just like he did in the first scene of the game, giving you a clue that he had killed someone shortly before the starting scene. Was the hand thing also in the original game? Can&apos;t remember.
