I'm leaving a comment to let you know about the service you provide that you probably are completely unaware of. I used to be an instrument repair technician as well as a motorcyclist, working on instruments from every family in the orchestra and rock band, even a concert zither once. An aortic dissection in 2008 caused a stroke which blocked my right carotid artery from delivering oxygenated blood to the right hemisphere of my brain for around 10 hours until a helicopter could get me to the trauma center and the surgeon could complete heart and aorta repairs and finally reconnecting the carotid artery. By then, the right hemisphere was completely destroyed. I wasn't even supposed to survive the trip. Long story shortened, I lost the use of my left limbs and have never regained them. Watching videos of repair techs sparks memories of what those same repairs felt like and smelled like in my own shop. I know the smell of flux, solder and heat along with the feel of a dent ball running through a crook and the smell of hot hide glue being applied to the seams of a cello or violin along with the smell of leather saxophone pads being seated in place . When I watch a ride-along video of someone rolling on the throttle of a bike through a sweeping curve at 60mph with storm clouds overhead, I know the feel and smell of the temperature change and lean angle I used to crave. You help me relive some of the skills end experiences I used to take for granted. I hope you never lose them as I have, but I thank you for briefly bringing them back to me. I am truly grateful to people who make and post videos of the things I loved to do.

Kenny, you are amazing. Besides being a virtuoso trumpet player, you are an astounding instrument repairman. You took a virtually destroyed cheap piece of junk and made it a playable instrument. Cleaning, dent repair, plating, soldering, and tuning, your talents are many! I just recently subscribed to your channel.

Only on the internet will some confident nobody complain that a guy who clearly knows what he's doing isn't using words in a way they like. If they think they're so smart I'd like to see their trumpet repair shop

Here is what I imagine happened to this horn. Remember that scene in the movie, "Office Space" where they take the printer out into the field and beat the crap out of it? I'm thinking some parent, not knowing snot about trumpets saw this in Temu and bought if for her kid for lessons, and after a few lessons, her kid did this to this trumpet too; perhaps hating having to take lesson with this instrument, and instrument that likely didn't play in tune and an instructor tired of fiddling with it to get it half-way playable. I'm thinking this kid likely took it out into a field and put this trumpet out of its misery. Someone likely found it and decided to send to Robinson's Remedies as a joke to repair and restore. To me, that has to be it.

I honestly thought that was going to be a lost cause. It's like you fixed it's soul. Loved the mellow background track as well. I don't use this word, but I have to now, "groovy"!
