  great talk. I post for every release on TikTok, FB, IG and YT and I answer every comment. AI helps as the comments are most often in languages I don't speak. It is some effort, but mostly not to miss out a comment  by checking all the platforms regularily. I see that some listeners / viewers are coming back. And it motivates me to have the dialog, so I don't just answer with a thank you / heart but always with a question ...

  Good ideas, and you are one of the few who actually look at the camera.  You have actual ideas to implement.  Last night I got over 1,000 views on my 2 YT shorts I did and I got about 4 comments and 3 subs and I thought it wasn't that good but from what you just said, it was actually quite a success and I need to take the comments more seriously.  I feel better from your vid, thanks, you are providing some hope to people, that's really good.

  Man it can be frustrating when you have to do everything yourself and really don't have the budget to pay anyone cause now these days people want you to pay them for there service which I fully understand cause no ones not going to invest there time like that especially when your in the beginning stages so having to wear more than one hat and no sense of direction is very frustrating

  Be real with people and try to build a genuine connection.  Show people that you love your music or there's no reason for them to love it.

  Thanks for the video, it came out a perfect time! I’m just starting to drop singles for my band projects that I’ve been working on for 20 years. Trying to get three albums out this year and demystifying the process to succeed is ongoing. Finding bits of wisdom from people who understand the system is very useful. I appreciate it!

I also wonder about your opinion about "social shows", if they are meant to be the next era of social media for up coming artists and if you are going to do a video about it.   Hey Damien, this video was very helpful for me as my wife and I are currently working on starting a new project. <br>We’ve got half of the first EP recorded. We haven’t told anyone so right now nobody in our music scene knows that’s what’s coming.<br><br>I’m wondering if you have any more advice for artists who are looking to start off a new project on the right foot. Best way to introduce yourself to your warm market, or maybe some mistakes you’ve seen new bands do that they can’t reverse in their introductions.

  As a new artist, I&apos;m also struggling with retention and format consistency. But I&apos;m &nbsp;grateful to even have 15 subscribers considering I&apos;m 50+ and I make foreign-language (Filipino) lofi pop. Thank you for the tips Damian.
