I can tell the seniority of a software developer by the amount of hair in his head.
This guy is a master of his field.

Love this type of interviews where you take the time to acctually look up things during the interview. Great work!

This fellas is dangerously cunning. Quite surprisingly open about talking on his tactics and approaches. Interesting information from this interview. Very observatory too…

I love how game devs say: "this is a small project it only took 300h". I know this is a small amount for game devs, but its crazy how fucking complex it is and how people take advantage over that at companies. They explore the fuck out of game devs.

Hey man just want to say thanks for the info. I appreciate you being transparent and don't think you deserve any hate for this but it's just the internet I guess. I definitely gleaned some good info from this interview though and everything I can learn is very helpful trying to launch my first game. I've been doing this for 5 years already so I really need to actually publish something and these stories are motivating.

Also I like the bit about just not engaging with certain crowds that just want to hate. Because I do the same thing where I expect people to be logical and reasonable so I give logical responses and like you said if they just want to hate it doesn't matter what you say. That's something I need to keep in mind more. I think it's honorable that you said you don't want to go the laughing all the way to the bank route even though it's probably the response those people deserve.

Anyway hopefully I can find me a thornity one day because I'm much like the dev guy where all I want to do is work on games and don't have a lot of energy for the marketing side.
