As a fellow game dev, seeing the revenue go from $139k to $31k net physically hurt me.

"The game was done, so there wasn't much to do on my side" oho, he's in danger.

I’m small content creator. I just purchased your game and installed. I’ll make a video. Congratulations 🎉❤ thanks for sharing your story with us.

This was an example of a super successful launch, 8300 sales and 50k wishlists but to only amount to $139k diminished down to $31k net is depressing considering how many months you built this up.

man if your price tag was 10 or 12 bucks it would have sold like crazy. 20 puts you in with the big boys on sale.

Long story short: Beta testing is not optional and just nice  to have, it's integral to the success of a game. You can have the best ideas, if the players encounter game breaking bugs, you get bad reviews.

Real developers don't test their code until release

i feel like we need a one year anniversary video of this game to show how well it did the first year of release.  it is interesting to watch, just so much can happen within that first year of a release like this that can make or break an indie dev.  i looked it up on steam, plan on buying it. but it wont be until the next week or so.

Best part is it'll keep paying you over time too. A good sale well get a lot of those wishlists converted to customers
