The guest on your show asked if you ever saved a life because you expressed this was your dream …well one of the listeners today told you that you “saved her life” and I think a lot of people feel that way so there’s many ways to save a person‘s life. You, Cas save lives by helping people declutter and get their home back and their lives in peace and order. I just wanted to point this out to you. I’ve been listening to you for a long time, love your podcast , thank you and you’re funny.😊

We were at a BBQ meeting for my hubbies motorcycle club and we were discussing homes and decorating. I commented on how you help people not only declutter their homes but help them know why they are cluttered and how to make our homes suit our personality.

One of the ladies commented that she loves coming when we host because just walking into my home feels like she’s getting a hug and others agreed! It surprised me and I blurted out how happy I was because that what I wanted people to feel!

Thanks for helping me fine tune to get there!

Who says a show needs to be on a network to be legit? This is a show on YouTube, Cas. I make sure to tune in every week.

People want less reels, more REALS. We feel better seeing imperfection because we can relate better. ❤

Don’t let the crazies change your space. Yours is amazing. I would know it’s yours based on the curtains and colors.

Being brave is tough but worth it!! I LOVE photography AND football but I really struggle with "but I'm not a real..." fill in the blank (AKA imposter syndrome). I started taking pictures at my son's football games last year and share everything with the team and parents. One of the parents asked if I have a website. I said "of course not" because I'm not a professional. And I don't like putting myself out there. So here's my brave... I started taking not just sports but event and portrait photos. I've now been 1) published in our local newspaper and the sports editor is asking for my photos, 2) was hired to photograph an event, and 3) built a website. My next brave step will be to reach out to the local university to see if I can get a press pass (which I will frame if I can get it) to take sports photos. Wish me luck!!!

I love how you turn every negative into something actually valuable. Also - do viewers NOT realise you're a professional organiser and teacher in this!? This is literally your job !? Of COURSE your house is gonna be gorgeously handled after so many years of perfecting the craft! 😂 SIT DOWN naysers! Ya'll might learn a little somethin' somethin' 🤪

Cas, you may not believe this, but you have a real talent for decorating. You not only help with the organizing, but whenever I see a space you have done, it looks really good decor wise, not just coldly "organized". I like the way you make things look better than a lot of "designers" I follow. It must just be an innate talent you have, along with your years of experience of trial and error.

I remember Dana K White commenting that she wanted to be a writer; but she didn't feel like she could start until she got her house cleaned up. So she just started writing about that, and one day, years later, she actually became a published author! One of her ideas was on what to do about multi-purpose spaces. She said, as Cas was saying, to pick one purpose of a room and to make the room that. Things for other purposes of the room can still stay in the room or in an adjacent space, but preferably should be put in closed, out-of-sight storage so that when one walks into a room, one sees only one purpose, not multi-purposes. For example, I have a lower level room that is a designated workout area, so it has a treadmill and gymnastic mats, along with a dresser and a video cabinet. In the dresser I store some things for dog grooming, like towels, but these are not visible in the room. The video cabinet has a DVD player plus DVDs below, so is all workout related. In the next room, there's a closet so in that closet are my other dog grooming supplies, such as the grooming table and dog hair dryer. So once a week; I groom dogs in that space, and I pull the supplies out from the closet and do dog grooming in that room. But then the important thing is that as I get finished with items they go back into the dresser or the closet, and at the end the gymnastics mats go back down. So it is always a workout room; it is just that sometimes I groom dogs in that room. I think zoning can work, but really only works best if we can build something of a wall to designate the space. So I've got a 2-car garage, and I've got half of it designated as a "dog room". There is chain link designating that space from the rest of the garage, and also vinyl flooring on that half of the garage to also delineate that space. Ideally, I'd like to use that space for dog grooming, but there was a big crate in there and that extra crate I no longer needed was blocking my space from what I want it to be! So on Saturday I literally took it to where dogs were (a dog show not too far away), put a big FREE, PLEASE TAKE sign on it, and walked away. And in 30 minutes it was gone :-). So maybe now I can use my garage space dog room to groom dogs too. A designated space needs to have some sort of wall to best make it work though; I recall Cas saying she made a small office with framing and drywall in her first house rather than just using a part of a bigger room, and that did work better for her than zoning would have done.
