Part 2 will be out on Sunday!! Try to hold yourself back from looking this up on your own till then, I want to be the one to tell you the story, because I’m selfish like that 🤣🤣

"she spends too much time setting the scene"??? We choose Stephanie because she doesn't read to us from a Wikipedia article. It's an audiobook. And I love it.

Too many people want a 5 minute fix these days. Story telling is dying out. You are a great story teller. If people want sound bites there are plenty of channels out there for them. Leave us to enjoy a tale well told.

Please don't change the way you tell these crime stories. Setting the scene is essential for a good story teller. You're amazing at what you do Stephanie and I always look forward to your videos 💟

While I know not everyone will agree, I adore the slow-burn, detailed set ups for Stephanie's videos. It makes the case come alive for me, and context is so important.

I live in south Africa, was born here. We grew up with stories about sangomas and muti from the ethnic people.
I had a boss who served in the police force that raided a sangoma "hut" and they found toddler hands and feet by the dozen.
It's a cultural belief that has never been laid to rest.

I’m watching from South Africa and I’m so proud to see how accurate your research about the sangomas and muthi is, great content and thanks for doing your homework to understand these rituals

Agreed...context is highly missing in this world today. Context is extremely important. You do you Steph! ❤️

I'm so glad the police went so hard for this boy. Literally in tears imagining want he went through. Having children really makes your heart go soft for kids, especially the young ones.

I just realised something interesting. Stephanie mentioned a Prof. Kenneth Pye who is a forensic geologist who was working on isotopes and was able to pinpoint the exact place where Adam grew up. I just watched a JCS inspired video yesterday about an 18 yr old girl in London who went to a party with her boyfriend, Barri White. While at the party, Barri was threatened by a couple of drunk bullies and because of this told his girlfriend that since it was very late and he had to work the next day it was probably best if they just headed home. She refused to leave. So he left alone and caught a cab back to a friend's house. A couple of hours later she calls Barri and says she was looking for a cab and got lost and could he come and pick her up. He's annoyed but he says he'll pick her up at the Blockbuster that was nearby her. So he and his friend drive to the Blockbuster but she's not there. So they start walking around the streets looking for her and are captured on CCTV doing just that. But they never found her. Long story short...she goes missing, her beaten body is found in a park two days later and Barri and his friend are arrested for her murder. The police had very little evidence against them and probably would never have been able to take the case to trial except for.... Prof. Kenneth Pye. He gave evidence that he'd found tiny particulates from a cigarette lighter on her skirt as well as in the friends' van which proved that she was in that van. It was this evidence alone that got them convicted. The two men were found guilty and sentenced to 16 to 25 yrs in prison. 6 yrs after they went to prison, the family of Barri's friend contacted a BBC program called "Rough Justice" to look into the case. They were able to put together a timeline that proved that Barri and his friend were innocent and Prof. Pye's evidence was inconclusive at best. So both men were released and exonerated and are now suing the police for compensation. They eventually caught the real killer. But if it weren't for Prof. Pye's shonky evidence these two men would never have gone to prison for something they didn't do. I guess if you watch enough crime shows eventually they'll start to overlap.
