I just got back to the hobby a few months ago. I have never sold any Pokémon card since 1999. I just keep on buying. I don't FOMO. I'm the worst investor because I never sell. Maybe my kids will sell. I just want to show off my collection to myself and to real collectors. I would trade my own cards to get missing pieces of my collection.

I'm not sure why ES is not a good comparable to PS. Lots of product, tough pull rate, lots of hype, giant chase card, good top 10!

Sometimes, you just gotta set it and forget it.<br><br>Bought some SPY in an account I rarely check after the liquidity crunch in 2022, checked recently and that has doubled.<br><br>It's these sneakerhead bros/flippers whose whole business model involves flipping short term to give them liquidity to keep churning product.<br>Once the bubble pops they will no longer be able to churn product profitably and they exit the cycle.<br><br>I started collecting a few boxes here and there starting in 2022, I just didn't expect how ballooned this market is, it's kind of disgusting.
