  I picked up pokemon nearly a year ago, but as my first tcg, and I have yet to attend a regional, but plan to in the spring. You're doing great, and yeah, losing does feel better when there's something you can learn from it.

  A switch from YGO to another TCG is very refreshing. To YGO players that have not tried other TCGs, I highly recommend exploring. All games provide a unique experience and generally have good communities.

  i like this video, because it’s quite an honest approach to the TCG itself, i started playing (after collecting for years) in november 2025, i’ve grown loads as a player and have been enjoying many decks, but my mains are grimmsnarl & mega sharpedo (which means grass absolutely sucks for me too 😂) however recently i’ve been messing with Raging Bolt/Basic Box and it’s been a blessing too! keep up the good work! 🎉

  I have never seen any of your videos but let me say this: you must be the most humble Pokémon player that I've ever heard talking. Inspiring. Though you definitely had a pretty nice head start having played yugioh many years. 😂 Good luck on the new season!

  I picked up the VGC. Having the teambuilding/deck building dynamic but not the random starting hands is such a fun change of pace.

  Its funny because I also started with Dragapult, then switched to Garchomp, and now am doing Alakazam as I feel it will be strong post rotation and doesn't deal with grass
