I grew up watching this as a teen, and 40 years later I still watch it now and then as one of my favourite movies to chill to. None of the sequels matched it.

Beverly D'Angelo is still an absolute fox. Love her.<br>That shower scene is one of my all time favorites.

The motorcycle cop was one of the best secondary characters in this movie...from a steely-faced badass to a weeping mess in a matter of 2 minutes.

The whole East St. Louis scene is one of the best in the film. Set up perfectly when he took wrong exit. I've known people that can recite the whole scene verbatim, it's a classic!

I was 13 when it came out, my parents took us to the drive in on consecutive weekends to watch it. I can still hear my dad laughing. He still cherishes this movie into his 80s. Great memories.

The St. Louis scene was so funny because it wasn't far from reality. Also the way he says "roll 'em up" always cracks me up.
