Kurt, I lived in Durango for 15 years. The silver cash register that Chevy Chase stole the money out of inside of the Straighter Hotel is still there till this day behind the counter

My mother witnessed the filming on San Francisco street while she was walking on the sidewalk before Aspen in the rain she worked at a radio station downtown Flagstaff
