This was very useful. I just started building up my home gym to start and got a similar rack to yours and have an elliptical. I was sick for several years and got very weak. Now I need to build everything back up. One thing I will share that is helping to motivate me is something I heard from a doctor and fitness creator. The doctor said "train for the last ten years of your life" and explained that we need to be capable of taking care of ourselves for the last years of our lives and not in a nursing home for ten years before we die. There is another creator on here that has been training her eighty year old parents and they can do more weight than most young people and have been able to stave off the nursing home because of it, at eighty years old no less.

I'm 61 and have osteopenia and discovered Dr Stacy Sims work in June when I was living in England. I immediately bought both books. I skimmed ROAR and found it interesting, but at my age it was Next Level that I found immensely interesting. I have now read the book at least 4 times. I came up with a plan that works for me and implements all of the advice Dr Sims gives. I changed SO.MANY.THINGS. about my lifestyle. I had been working out 6x a week for years, so I wasn't sedentary. But I immediately started eating a pre workout snack rather than working out fasting. I started SERIOUSLY focusing on high quality protein consumption in adequate amounts. And I started lifting HEAVIER.
I have watched some of Loretta Lifts videos as well as Hailey Happens. Unfortunately Hailey's stuff really requires you to buy her programs, and I'm looking for something for FREE. I have mapped out my own workout split and it has been great. I'm MOST HAPPY to have started the Sprint Interval Training and the Jump Training, because I have bone density issues and I'm hoping to finally found a way to reverse my bone loss! I'm giving this whole thing 9 months because body recomposition is SLOOOOOOW. I get my next full body DEXA scan reading in February and I'll see if all this made a difference!!

This is so great to hear. This program has been on my radar for some time. I’m recovering from a severe back injury and once I am released to go back to working out like normal, this is what I plan to do. Thanks for the review!

I have read both of her books and found them very interesting. I have been looking at her program for nine months now but wasn't sure which level. I am 52 and have been lifting for 30 years so I know how to lift. You have helped me decide to start with intermediate 1. Thanks!

Thank you Emma, that was really helpful. I find Stacey's content very informative and useful, but I now know her programme isn't for me because I don't have a decent home gym and no time to visit one. Thanks!

Awesome, excited to hear you had some new PBs. True no one is going to see the fat loss on any program if they aren't hitting the macros.
