I'd absolutely buy a shonenjump style comic magazine for DC!

Oh yeah, the best stories in dc history widely available in physical form for only 10 bucks is really good. I started with All Star Superman and now have like 7 of these. Taking a note from Tankobans was definitely the move.

I think a small part of the Compact’s success is consistent visual branding. When I look at the store shelves and see a bunch of DC Compacts it feels like looking at a shelf of Wii games. It’s clean, it’s consistent, and it feels like each one is a full experience the same way a video game is. There’s a certain psychology behind that design that just tickles the brain and makes the Compacts so much more appealing.

DC Shonen Jumps sound like such a home run idea that really I’m surprised they haven’t done yet. Make like a “Dark Knights” or “Justice League” or “DC Space” collection that combine 5-6 comics into one book, sell it for $15, and you’d probably get more people buying and into the ecosystem more

I've been noticing that DC is going out of its way to make comics more accessible. I've recently seen my local grocery store sell Batman and Superman books which was unimaginable to me 3 years ago as the only comics I would see at the check out counter was Archie stuff

Comics like Action Comics, Detective Comics, and The Brave & the Bold could be great anthology for new readers. Using each of them to not only tell stories of mainline heroes but introduce lesser known characters and give them their own stories and allow them to experiment.

Can you imagine being able to buy one book a month to read all the absolute comics for 10$?

And I can just read it all? That would be amazing.

Not only does this seem like the best way to keep up with the stories, they're also just incredible for stories that involve major crossovers, or events. Instead of "if I want to see the effect this had on the world I need to read I don't care about", we can see it in something else printed right next to it, or just last month

I’d actually kill for a DC version of Shonen Jump/Shojo Beat. Heavy emphasis on the Shojo Beat, actually. It was more than just a manga magazine, it was a pop culture magazine as well. It contained interviews with artists, musicians, animators, anyone they thought the readers would be interested in, alongside crafts, polls, fashion, and fun facts about Japan and Japanese culture. I’m not sure what DC would do as an alternative, but I still think it would be a great way to get people not only into other comics they might have not picked up, but they’d get an insight into how the industry works and see the people behind their favorite books.

Considering I only buy comics if they're graphic novels or volumes and most of the ones I see on Internet Archive are in those forms, I agree. It's a smart decision by DC to compile their books with easily digestable prices.
