  i am glad that stylization is becoming more normalized in modern comics, especially with the dc absolute series, it really opens the door for more ways to tell these stories through the visuals<br><br>while the standard house style does look nice, i still prefer books that have stylized art

  Jorge jimenez is my goat for comic art. People call it new gen, but i beleive he genuinely cracked the sauce of making reading a comic feel like watching a movie.

  I like Dan Mora and Jimenez as the new DC standard, they feel so clean and cool, without being too clean

  Before Miller, there are plenty of artists that sort of deviate from a house style. I really think it comes down to the colloring and the inking that generates this similarity, specially for them coming after the penciling and storytelling. But artists like Gil Kane, Gene Colan, Neal Adams, Paul Gulacy and the Filipinos certainly stand out in the mainstream comics. I mean, even Kirby is somewhat unique when comparing to his peers.

  Todd McFarland art just hits different even today I look at that specific style for Spider-Man today and a few others have been just as good at drawing the web crawler.

  For me, the artists that I’m into are Mark Bagley, John Romita Jr., Yusuke Murata, and Shinichi Ishizuka, both the American and Japanese styles of art in the medium of comics.

  Sam Keith was another one who had such a unique style that it wasn&apos;t really like any of the others... He deserves a mention.
