  Feeling really proud to be mentioned in this video. I still remember the day I saw myself in one of your vlogs where you were so happy I commented on one of your videos, have watched them all since!  I’m so excited for you -  my current year out doing a masters has been incredible. I’m starting surgical training in October but can definitely see the appeal of YouTube full time. I hope you find everything you’re looking for and smash it. Looking forward to the upcoming videos and after FY2 take some time off, you deserve it!!

  I am medical student on my 3rd year. And I just quit medical school, the idea of graduating and being a doctor was terrifying me, I no longer felt connected to this career path and I felt absolutely miserable ! Starting biochemistry in 2026. Let’s chase our dreams while we still alive !

  You are the third doctor I saw on YouTube who quit medicine, and I have mixed feelings about this as I'm going to my 4th year 😅. I used to watch your videos during the pandemic (2020-22ish) before entering medical school, and it gave me so much motivation! Came back to see your videos are as amazing as ever.   I have watched you since I started my A Levels 3 years ago and you have been my saviour. I've just finished my first year at uni, training to be a nurse and I don't think I would still be here without your videos. Healthcare is such a tricky field, I constantly feel lost! But knowing I'm not alone makes me feel so much lighter

  When I saw the title of the video I cannot say I didn't feel grief because as a first year doctor myself I have been following you since med school and felt like if you could do all that, then surely I can also keep doing it. But after watching the video, I feel so happy and excited for the way you feel more purpose in the upcoming days! I'm excited for what's in the future, and I'm rooting for you always ❤
