  I hope this can be a wake up call to the NHS, Doctors are human beings too, and they are tired.

  Ever since your ‘I Hate My Job but Can’t Quit’ video I suspected this might happen. Decisions like these are rarely easy but it's better to admit you've walked into the wrong room than stay there your whole life. Good on you for knowing your priorities!   Nurse for 30 years.  Healthcare wasn’t like this at one time.  Being able to actually take care of the patient was so rewarding.  Now it’s all paperwork and regulations.

  I quit my job as a registered nurse recently. For the past three years, I sacrificed myself for this job and it completely ruined my physical and mental health. My body told me to stop and now I’m slowly healing.

  I’ve been there. I specialized and then found myself working 60 hr a week. 24hrs at a time. I started hating how my work interfered with my personal life. I switched to private practice and never looked back. I love my job now and I’m off all weekends, evenings and holidays. Never regretted it for even a moment. You only get one life.

  the government is so busy funding wars in other countries or lining the pockets of biollionaires to care for its own affairs. all governments seem to be going down this path. the medical profession is such a noble one that it's insane that it's not one of the higher paid ones in the UK.

  I’m a medical doctor I can relate to this. I tell everyone who wants their kids to be doctors it’s really not worth the hype . U sacrifice all your time and energy for nothing

  This video reminded me when my mum told me that she had attempted suicide because her job was too hard on her. She is a Dr. who was taking a year leave at that time before jumping back to college to complete her PG&apos;s but for some reason she decided she did not want to waste a year and got a job to earn some experience, little did she know that she was walking into HELL. She was posted in a rural hospital where she saw many chilling cases from women being beaten to near death to small children being malled by animals. Her breaking point was when she came across a case where a small girl was raped and was burnt to death, she told that her genitals were seriously damaged and could be seen ( That&apos;s what she told me I think, sorry I don&apos;t know much about women anatomy ) and that&apos;s when she decided to do it because she couldn&apos;t take it anymore. Fortunately she survived and it was when my mom and dad finally married that she got any better he was always there for her, She later opted for pathology and got into clinical work because direct treatment to her patients was not really something she could do. Now she is still working and is the strongest person I have ever known. We have gone through so much but she still never quits and continues to work hard to make my and my sisters future better, and she is the main motivation for me to study and get good grades. ❤❤
