  this is beautiful, i teared up. love is really finding someone who is willing to choose you and always choose you until you grow old and working on things together like a team. the compatibility quote broke me cause its so true, you work on it together and its not a prerequisite of love. hope everyone find this love because we all deserve it <3

  Dating and improving yourself through relationships requires: self-awareness, tolerance for discomfort, social skills (good eye contact, enunciation, ability to converse), critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills... all areas where Gen Z is woefully underdeveloped.

  As someone who has loved like they do in the movies, every time as if it were the last, I can tell you: I never dreamed of it. I never went looking for it. I never felt like I had to find the right person. I simply lived my life, and somehow, love kept finding me again.

  To me the &quot;you need to be in a relationship to see your faults&quot; is at odds with the &quot;you need to work on yourself before you i flict yourself on another innocent person&quot;.<br><br>If someone doesnt have much experience the. The take away from that is you need to work on yourself, but you cant work on yourself without getting experience. Its very contradictory.

  As someone in a relationship right now, it’s so easy to obsess over the missing 10% on the list of 30 things you need in a partner. Your partner doesn’t have to meet your ideals of what social media or our friends tell us is a perfect partner. Through my relationship I’ve learned to search for your missing 10% and then agree to work on it together. We are all people and we are all growing, we don’t need to wait to be “perfect” to enter a relationship.

  It’s a shame that we aren’t really taught that love really is a skill. And, like any skill, it’s hard to learn and get good at sometimes but you have to keep showing up to get good at it. Loved this perspective 🙌🏽
