Thank you so much for going into such depth of not only their behaviors, but also for validating those of us affected by them. It's a strange relief. You save my sanity!

Thank you for addressing this! Each chapter has been great, and I have been looking forward to your assessment of the so called "self-aware narcissists"...so cool to hear these insights as the final chapter. Confirms so much of what I had come to feel about their role, or contribution, in the broader discourse. Thanks again Dr. Salerno, this has been an illuminating and much-needed deep dive into the truth of narcissism.

Thank you for this series. I so appreciate your rigor and the big picture understanding of the field. Your definition of narcissism makes it so clear, and in this episode the descriptions of what happens to a person experiencing narcissism make the cause and effect of the impact so clear, and is immensely validating. It has provided a depth of clarity for healing around shame that I've not experienced before - the cause and effect is so clear as to why it is not mine - I am so deeply grateful.
Also, the clarity of antagonism vs agreeableness, in the way you have described it through this series, is like shining a light on the whole patterning of it, where all the pieces of that can then be seen. Thank you. I look forward to you next series.

THANK YOU ! This made me cry, i hope professionals really study your work as you clearing explain some narcissists so well, having experienced someone who has tried to destroy my life but professionals didnt listen or see it. This person went to jail and i was blamed for his actions and whole community turned against me even though i was protecting my daughter. You work has made me feel seen and heard as proessionals left me it deal with a very dificult situation with no protection from his friends and family and he used family court to trap me from getting safe and moving away. I have interalised the shame and blame, this has caused deep depression and anxiety, isolation and lonelessness. So hearing your end statements on this subject made me stop gaslighting myself and telling myself i did the right thing to protect my daughter no matter what the outcome has been. This has touched me at a very low point in myself and hearing this means a lot. 🙏

I'm here to watch this channel grow. Every video of Dr. Salerno that i have watched has made me feel at peace knowing that I'm not insane and these manipulative tactics are real and far more common in life than we may think.

This video brought me to tears when he spoke of shame. He described it in the best fashion. This shame lead me to stay in very degrading and abusive relationship for far too long. Thank you Peter for truly pointing out that “narcissism” is an anger based issue not shame. I had to go to years of therapy for deep rooted shame because I blamed myself for how my family treated me. Peter you are a God send.

Peter your videos have been absolute gold for me to fully understand my partner.
And now I fully understand, I'm leaving this sad man who will never change.
He knows he's difficult and cruel with a sadistic streak but he doesn't care.
Scary but true.
