I'd say worrying about an OAS clawback because you're too rich is a problem most would like to have.

I don't take anything out of my RRSP right now. But my income will go up to $70,000 when I have to put my RRSP into a RRIF, not including my CPP or OAS.

Do feel free to provide a video that considers the death rate and other impinging factors and how that buffers the payout. Ex. Two professionals, females, died of cancer one later 40s and other early 50s. Two males, one professional and one military, die age 67 and other 62. So maybe a video per average life spans of those who were employed to reach early or late retirement.

The most important thing to your standard of living in retirement is to be debt free.

The numbers quitted for max CPP and OAS appears to be for non deferred receipt of benefits

I make so much money I can't afford to die. I have to trick my body into thinking its 30 years old forever so all my defined pensions keep paying forever.

I don’t really understand how the income reported is an accurate indicator of anything for a retiree as only some sources of income are fully reflected in a tax return. RRSPs, pensions, OAS, CPP, GIS all are fully taxable but TFSAs are not taxed and therefore don’t show up as income and non-registered investments are only taxable on 50% of the gain.

Don’t get hung up on how much taxes or the claw back on OAS. If there’s a claw back on OAS that means you’re in a better position financially. More money in your pocket.

🫡 The exact number of recipients of GIS are 2.8 million, out of the 8.2 million on OAS (almost exactly 1/3 of them)

At 1:24 , it says the opposite of what it meant to. The Average makes the average Canadian look 'Poorer' than they really are. Not 'richer' like the video said.
