you guys always miss the power of compounding. Just say delay CPP and your payment go up. Do the real math. Here are real numbers. CPP at 65 1276 month, @70 1812. Now the fun stuff. Assume we use 80 years old as the year of final calculations. Investing all CPP and getting a 7.5% return. The cpp at 65 grows close to 395k. The wait till 70 at 80 years old grows to 307k. Assumes never touching that money and investing it right away in TFSA and non reg. That's the real math.

Cpp to 70 is adjusted for inflation and aye it’s quite a bit more

As the dollar sinks, climate ideology stifles our resource sectors and Carney mismanages our relationship with our largest customer, retirement is getting more and more difficult.
