  Lost Frontier is the Banjo-Kazooie Nuts n Bolts of the Jak and Daxter series. Not the Wrost games in the world, but definitely inferior to the other great games in the same series that came before it.<br>I particularly do enjoy those two games. but yeah, can&apos;t deny that they do have many flaws indeed.

  I honestly never hated Dark Daxter as a concept. It finally gives Daxter stuff to do outside of being the loudmouth comic relief. And I&apos;m pretty sure precursors aren&apos;t exactly immune to dark eco corruption, hence the dark makers. In general, I like how Daxter is used in TLF, especially the aerial combat, sending him onto enemy fighters to swipe parts is pretty badass, and he finally gets to make use of his goggles. My only issues with it all is that Daxter seems to have no issue controlling his dark form and that it doesn&apos;t play into the story at all.

  I played it years ago, and can barely remember two things:<br>1- it was actually fun to play, with cool mechanics and I liked piloting the ships<br>2- there is not a single instance of the story that I can recall

  People really don&apos;t like admitting it, but lost frontier does have some good ideas. It&apos;s just that after 4 bangers and a very solid psp title, TLF kinda let everyone down. I don&apos;t think anybody is or was against a non Naughty Dog J&amp;D game because people really do like Daxter more than they realize so it&apos;s proof that a psp JaD can be done well AND it wasn&apos;t even made by ND! So when you hear that a studio with so much promise picks up the mantel of one of the most promising and beloved Playstation franchises that has one of the most loyal fanbases known to fucking mankind, AND it was mediocre while looking worse than The Precursor Legacy!? People were none too happy which I can&apos;t blame them for whatsoever. I have alot of thoughts on TLF honestly but I don&apos;t wanna keep yappin in case yall play it

  I didn&apos;t really notice during my play-through, but if you go back and listen to the whole Lost Frontier soundtrack on YouTube, its an absolute banger.

  As a big fan of the Jak &amp; Daxter series, I played 10 minutes of this game, then uninstalled it and never looked back. It&apos;s not a Jak game, it&apos;s a bad action-platformer with a Temu Jak &amp; Daxter reskin.

  Great video! Deffo agree with so many of your points. For example, that green eco grenade launcher while there&apos;s an eco shortage?? It contradicts the whole premise of the game!

  There&apos;s a lot to say but people have hate towards Dark Daxter because he doesn&apos;t make sense but I&apos;m like he&apos;s double changed by Dark Eco which would mean something, not everyone would be the same when transformed and we don&apos;t actually know what the Dark Makers actually are as we could get the idea the ones seen are robots of them &amp; Cyber Errol called the Terraformers Dark Makers so legit could mean Daxter would be how he is. Also I love the powers he possesses, I don&apos;t really care if he doesn&apos;t exactly make much sense anyway.

  When it was first ported to ps2 I got it and gave it a few hours before stopping. &nbsp;I picked it back up on PS5 last year with the memory of those low expectations and actually enjoyed playing it
