Ps1s initially didn’t come with a memory card bundled so at the time they figure they would insert codes into bonus rounds, typing in said code would bring you back to that point.

Almost exactly my ranking! I’d put Spyro 3 over Crash 3, both are S-Tier, but still, great points made about your list!

I agree with your Spyro rankings, platforming purity > minigames. Except somehow it's like everything you said about Spyro 3 describes Spyro 2 and 2 describes 3. I'm guessing moving the minigames into side levels helped make them feel less distracting?
