  It's absolutely insane to consider that there are skins for guns in Call of Duty these days that have a larger file size than the entire Ocarina of Time game itself.

  Fun story to share. I actually got to play OOT when I was a kid before 99.9% of anyone else in North America.<br>I was young. Like &quot;early teens&quot; young. &nbsp;<br>I knew OOT was coming out and I BEGGED my grandparents to get it for me. They knew I loved my gaming and I didn&apos;t beg for games very often.<br>So my grandpa, who is one of the greatest men I&apos;ve ever had the privilege of knowing, told my aunt about how bad I wanted the game.<br>My aunt happened to be a manager at the local Best Buy.<br><br>When OOT was finally released to stores, she got a copy of it and brought it to my house 2 whole days before it was slated to be released to the public.<br>Hell of a thing to do...and I thanked her so much for it.<br>I was beyond excited but never actually appreciated how truly unique of an opportunity it was that I got early access to what is considered one of the greatest games ever made.<br>Reflecting back on it, it blows me away. But what I remember most isn&apos;t the early access. It was getting yelled at for spending too much time playing it. I was on that game every free hour I had and with good reason.<br>On that note, I miss my grandparents so much... If your mom/dad/grandparents are still alive, ya&apos;ll should call them TONIGHT and remind them that you love them. Tomorrow, they might not be there to tell.

  Of all the games I’ve played, whenever I turn on OOT it feels like I’m visiting with an old friend.

  To this day I still don’t understand how they did it.<br><br>When you look at Ocarina of Time and compare it to anything out that time it feels like it’s a next gen game.<br><br>Huge world , many NPCs , a full 3d world that you can actually interact with everything , dungeons , tons of side quest , day and night cycles with weather conditions as well , a horse , tons of inventory , a leap through time and a crazy interconnected world between past and future , Z targeting….<br><br>I could keep going forever.<br><br>The game felt and was so huge.<br><br>Even my personal favorites FFVII and Metal Gear didn’t stand a chance against this.

  N64 with Super Mario64 and Ocarina of Time was the single biggest leap since games were first programmed.

  This video makes it look like Ocarina of Time was Nintendo&apos;s answer to Playstation, while in fact Zelda 64 was developed simultaneously with Super Mario 64 (but was obviously started much earlier).
