I’m so impatient with potatoes 😂<br>I am growing three different ways this year. Ruth Stout, directly in the ground, and in raised beds. I was out yesterday peeking under the straw in the Ruth Stout beds to see what was up. I am still a couple of weeks from harvesting and can’t wait!

When did you plant your potatoes? I planted mine on Good Friday April 4th. I am doing an experiment I guess. I have some in Carpenter trash bags, some in laundry baskets and one milk crate. I'm excited to see if I will even have any potatoes. I pray that I do.

Someone told me hilling more as the indeterminate varieties grow doesn't do anything, its still only going to grow potatoes down lower.

You should definitely let them plants die back more on your potatoes why are you harvesting when your plants are still alive? you definitely treated yourself out of some bigger potatoes as you can see from your plants. There’s several very small ones that would’ve become bigger potatoes if you let your plants die back.
